JOB TITLE: Heavy Equipment Operator

Class: Full-Time

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Bulk Express Transport is looking for CERTIFIED Heavy Equipment Operator with experience. This role offers steady work on a fixed schedule from Monday to Saturday.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load correctly and efficiently.

Perform and document daily inspections on the equipment.

Communicate and report to Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.

Service, grease and clean the machine on daily basis.

Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 1 year of experience loading.

Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220).

Be able to work night shift if needed.

Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers and client’s representatives.

Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.

Flexibility to work extra hours.

MUST BE CERTIFIED
