Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automobile Technician at HORST'S BAVARIAN AUTO WORKS, INC. located in Venice, FL. The Automobile Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and repairs on various types of vehicles, with a focus on German-made automobiles. This includes but is not limited to brake repairs, engine repairs, suspension repairs, electrical system diagnoses and repairs, and regular vehicle maintenance. Additionally, the Automobile Technician will be responsible for completing all necessary paperwork related to repairs and maintenance, and providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a technical or vocational school program in automotive technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment such as scan tools, multimeters, and computer diagnostic systems

Experience with repairs on German-made vehicles such as BMW, Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen is preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for the automotive industry
