Auto Body Shop Painter Prepper Specialist

Body Shop Paint Paint Prepper needed to join our team at Sunset Cadillac of Venice's elite Collision Center.

Paint/prep skills and experience required. We're looking for an experienced painter or prepper who is interested in handling the prep area of our paint shop to keep our vehicles rolling. We're scheduled out for months and steady work is available. $65-85k estimated pay per year.

Painter Prepper Duties

Assist in the completion of the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include:

Masking, sanding, applying undercoats, mid-coats and top coats.

Use power tools, paint mixers, paint, cleaning solvents, and waxes as needed.

Disassembly and reassembly of body panels, bumpers, trim, etc.

All work completed per estimate and according to manufacturer's standards.

Painter Apprentice - Prepper Requirements

Successful Candidate must be able to take direction and work independently to produce top quality results, take pride in your work, and have a great attitude.

Collision center experience as a paint prepper or painter is required.

Must have ability to perform physically demanding work.

Must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history.
