RESPONSIBILITIES:Kfroce has a client that is seeking an Application Support in Daytona Beach, FL.Overview:The Application Services Analyst acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the IT Applications team. In this role, the IT Application Services Analyst will study business functions, processes, and business applications related to distribution, logistics, sales, operations, finance, and other functional areas and help support and train these functions. The selected candidate is expected to have high levels of business acumen coupled with process knowledge, business application knowledge, and continuous improvement mentality and helps to solve business problems and develop new capabilities.Roles and Responsibilities:Provide functional support of applications for users in both the branch support center and divisions: Initial interface with the customer (gathers, documents, and reviews details of issue; Routes issues as appropriate) Handle support calls - address support issues; Log and regularly monitor/update status of issues into incident management systems Assist with resolution to prevent future occurrencesDevelop understanding of business functions & processes: Collect and analyze underlying data to determine process issues and opportunities Provide recommendations of improvement of common issues/high ticket volume Provide application training support as neededREQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years of experience as an Application Services Analyst/Customer Service Rep overlooking distribution, logistics, sales, operations, finance, or other major functions; Experience with Oracle E-Business and ERP knowledge a plus Required Industry Experience (Construction, Insulation, Trades, etc.): Preferably anything around application support/training related Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, written and verbal Understanding from a BA-like standpoint; Functional understanding of applications Can escalate to the Application Development/QA teams Someone who worked in finance/functional - nice to haveTech:Application Support: Oracle Preferred; Otherwise, JD Edwards/SAP/PeopleSoft MS Applications: OneDrive; O365 Environment Custom Applications - homegrown, on the job training provided; Must want to learn and pitch in where needed User Management, IAM-related tasks - just to have a knowledge of what this is would be nice to haveKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
