SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR ONSITE Provide customer support to end users within the organization’s desktop computing environment. Provide system support including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading software and equipment to ensure optimal system performance. Troubleshoot problem areas including hardware, software and networks. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems. Provide Network support of WAN, LAN to include VOIP. Direct the planning, implementation and introduction of new systems and technologies. Liaise with third-party infrastructure support vendors & equipment vendors. Collaborate with consulting systems engineers to ensure efficient operation of the Fund’s computing environment. Preparing, maintaining, and upholding library of IT Standard Operating Procedures & Policies. Supports various technologies across the organization including Laptops, servers, pc and televisions. Must be able to work independently and as part of the team. Develop long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware needs. Produce Technical & Non-Technical User Guides, SOPs, and specifications for purchase of system equipment & software. Ensure the Executive Director is well informed and consulted appropriately. Working with the IT Support team installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware, software and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Applications system program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Provide training to the office staff for all software and hardware. Develop network security procedures for all software and hardware per HIPPA Security requirements. Design, implement, and maintain multifaceted databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection, security, documentation, and statistical methods. Maintains of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of procedures and integration of systems through database design. Design, implement, and maintain application software which includes purchased or home grown. Responsible with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported software/hardware problems including remote connectivity, cabling, switches, pc, printers, scanners, servers, Wi-Fi and tape drives. Collect and analyze system alerts, logs, and other artifacts, and evaluate whether unauthorized access or information exfiltration occurred when working an incident. Manage the Email Fraud Detection program in correcting deficiencies with the implementation of email security controls. Customize the claims payment software to produce claims payment data per vendor specifications. Develop and modify in house software which includes eligibility, claims, EDI, data exchange services and reporting systems.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in System administration, Computer Science or Information Systems required. Minimum 10 years IT system work experience.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in all the below: MS Windows, Network, Exchange, MS-Office products, and various windows software products; IBM system operations; System application coding new and legacy systems; Diplomatic personality; ability to communicate with non-technical audience; Good communication skills. Knowledge of 1) Scripts 2) .Net 3) iSeries Midrange, Network Protocols and Risk Management Framework; Team leadership – Ability to effectively manage an internal IT technical team; Experience in an application support environment.
