Awning Service Technician

Responsibilities:

- Conduct service and maintenance on various awning systems, including repairs and replacements.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot awning issues to identify necessary repairs.

- Install, adjust, and maintain awnings, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.

- Collaborate with the service team to schedule and complete service appointments.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

- Keep accurate records of service appointments, repairs, and customer interactions.

- Inspect and assess awning structures for signs of wear or damage.

- Assist in training clients on the proper use and care of their awning systems.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an Awning or Sign Service Technician or similar role.

- Knowledge of various awning systems and components a PLUS.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights when necessary.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Valid driver's license.

Requirements:

- Full-time availability with flexibility for service appointments.

- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed.

- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Familiarity with safety protocols related to awning installations and service.

- Training or certification in awning systems is a plus.
