Van Conversion Technician

Volition Components is searching for a detail-oriented, dependable technician to join our growing team. You should collaborate with other professionals and be able to make useful recommendations wherever possible. To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic/carpentry tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

The responsibilities include:

Construct, erect, install and renovate structures made of wood and other materials, ranging from cabinets and shelving to building electrical systems.

Installs walls, floors, ceilings, and roof accessories using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.

Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.

Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.

Moves necessary materials around the jobsite as assigned.

Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Complete regular shop upkeep including cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Cleans up worksite debris.

Creativity and design skills

Other duties as assigned by the management.

Education, Experience, and other Requirements:

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Technical, mechanical, or construction experience

Strong working knowledge of workplace safety

Experience with using hand and powered tools such as drills, sanders, saws, nail guns and other pneumatic tools.

Must have reliable transportation

Must be presentable in a professional manner

Compensation:

$20-$35 Depending on experience.
