RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Technical Writer in Denver, CO.Summary:We are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst (BA) or Senior Technical Writer who will be leading our process analysis, development, and documentation for our Vendor Management Program initiative.The successful candidate needs to become familiar with the Company's Technology Vendor Management (TVM) Program, its goals, and the various agency needs as it relates to TVM; TVM program goals include: Provide appropriate and consistent performance, reliability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information, technology, and critical technology infrastructure Provide for the governance and deliberative process for unified and continuous review and approval of all technology purchases Provide an environment that produces an appropriate technology return on investment (ROI) for the company through fiscal stewardship and risk mitigation Reporting to the Principal Technology Architect, the successful candidate will develop standards documents and templates that will be used to launch the programExpected Responsibilities: Gain an understanding of the TVM Program requirements Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension Research and compose user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success Senior Business Analyst/Technical Writer will generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specificationsREQUIREMENTS:Minimum three years of current, professional experience researching, analyzing, and describing business processes which should include at 18 months of technical writing experience for mid- to large-sized projects, including: Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter Experience writing documentation and procedures for various audiences Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills Strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Experience in the public sector, at the municipal, city, or county levels is helpful but not requiredEmployment Location:The primary work locations are Denver, Colorado two to three days a week and work from the Analyst's home the remaining time. Work from home requires work to be performed in the State of Colorado only. Updates and changes may occur based on State and Local mandates and recommendations for the foreseeable future. The contractor may also work with Denver team members at various building locations as needed and allowed going forward.The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
