RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a RF Network Engineer in Englewood, Colorado (CO).Summary:Our client strives to connect their customers to superior communications and entertainment products with the highest quality service. Under general supervision, assists in the planning, forecasting, evaluation, and reports results of products submitted for qualification. RF Network Engineer is responsible for development, enhancement, and implementation of test methods/processes. Also, are responsible for initiating, coordinating testing with other teams, tracking, and completing documentation of assigned projects.Responsibilities include: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience RF Network Engineer participates in evaluation planning, design and engineering of lab enhancements Integrates communication industry architectures, topologies, hardware, and software into complete network configurations Evaluates new products and makes recommendations for improvement Assists in the development and documentation of technical standards RF Network Engineer implements approved methods of procedure Works on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity surrounding CATV planning, configuration and optimization Provides support across organizations Works on one or more projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project team lead RF Network Engineer knows, understands, and follows company policyREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in product testing and evaluation Proficient knowledge of RF test equipment Proficient knowledge of related industry specifications and standards SCTE, ANSI, IEEE, etc. Proficient knowledge of basic CATV devices Proficient knowledge of RF test equipment Knowledge of test analysis software (e.g., MathWorks-MATLAB, LabView, etc.) Proficient knowledge of related industry specifications and standards SCTE, ANSI, IEEE, etc. Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology Proficient knowledge of basic CATV devices Knowledge of Microsoft Office Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner Ability to use personal computer and software applications Ability to work in a team environment Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technology quicklyKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
