Federal Bar & Grill is looking for a full time Kitchen Manager. Kitchen hours are Wednesday – Saturday 11:00am to 10:00pm, Sunday-Tuesday 11:00am 9:00pm. This position will need to implement new ideas for an existing allergy friendly menu. A working knowledge of cost and portion controls, ordering from multiple suppliers, and keeping labor within reasonable percentages is required. Communication is key in this position, between owners, front of house, and back of house. Our food is prepped and made fresh to order, frozen items are minimal.
· 2 year minimum experience working on the line, hot, cold and prep.
· Excellent knowledge of cooking procedures and safety measures.
· Positive bilingual communication skills
· Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend up to 8 hours standing/walking.
· Must be available to work nights and weekends.
