Adult Foster Care/Host Home Provider FED TAX EXEMPT

We are a non-profit organization that has provided residential services to adults with developmental disabilities for over 25 years. We have an amazing opportunity for someone who wishes to truly make an impact in the lives of some of the under-served in general society. Our clients are fun, interesting, social, and valuable people who thrive in the care of people that enjoy them and want to help them achieve quality of life.

We are currently looking for a Adult Foster Care/Host Home Provider for clients with developmental disabilities.

A Host Home Provider provides a residential living option by taking the client into their home and providing them with a private bedroom along with daily support and care. Host Home Providers create a conducive, safe, caring environment for an individual with medical and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities may include:

Meal preparation

Assist or provide prompts for hygiene, dressing.

Transportation as needed for activities: appointments, grocery shopping, errands, etc.

Medication administration.

Schedule public transportation for client to attend Day Program.

Documentation and notes pertaining to progress and appropriate medical records.

Accompany at various times to events that provide community access and entertainment.

All qualified candidates will have to be able to pass a background check, must be current CPR certified, current QMAP certified, current Med administration certified, and have a valid CO Driver's License. They must have reliable transportation that is currently insured.

We are very interested in contracting with caring Providers that have experience working with clients that have certain Behaviors including property destruction, verbal aggression, physical aggression and that can work with and listen to individuals and who also can assist them with redirecting, utilizing their coping skills, etc.

Compensation:

The level of compensation depends on the client's disabilities. (the range shown on the job description is dependent on experience and what tier the client is)

All income to a Host Home Provider is exempt from Federal Tax

All services are paid to Host Home Provider as an independent contractor.

10 days of paid Respite per year.

Salary Range: $18,000.00 to $65,000.00/year depending on the clients’ disability level
