Sr. UX Designer – (Hybrid role). LOCATION: San Jose, CA DURATION: 6-9 months contract with a possible extension OR possible conversion to FTE IMPORTANT: - COVID vaccination is required.
- This is a hybrid role; the candidate must be living in a commutable distance from the client location (San Jose, CA).
- Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design.
- Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate in HCI/design.
- Understanding of user research techniques and how they can be applied to problem-solving.
- Understanding of the user-centered design process.
- Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient with industry standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Portfolio to showcase your work.
- Knowledge of immunology or other life sciences applications is a nice-to-have.
- Experience working with medical instruments or life science instruments is a plus.
