In this role, you will?

• You will work directly with the Director of User Centered Design and all designers in the team to create/shape our digital products and contribute with our Design Systems.
• Create the user interaction model, information architecture, visual design, prototypes, and guidelines for Align's user interfaces. ?
• Create solutions to address real customer's needs and expectation with a great design craft, experience and attention to details.
• Create UI and UX prototypes for development teams to understand and follow, continue to evolve our internal UI guidelines, collaborate with other designers in the team and keep the experience direction familiar to our end users.
• Tasked with the creation of new conceptual screens and visual assets using the continuously evolving guidelines and design patterns.
• Participate in rapid design exploration and presentation of future product concepts, present ideas and designs in tangible forms (e.g., high level sketches, mockups, prototypes).
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and integrate with existing frameworks. ?
• Work closely with UX researcher to evaluate new and existing products using a variety of methodologies, including usability studies, ethnographic field research, user surveys, prototype testing, competitive product analysis, and latest industry & design trend research.
• Use data - both qualitative and quantitative - to make informed design decisions; strong design rationale and communication skills that leverage storytelling and data
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements to create intuitive user-centered design solutions.
• Design reviews?- you will oversee design review meetings to ensure the team stays in sync & outputs have the highest quality
• Process?- you will monitor & improve the design process to ensure that each project proceeds as smoothly as possible with the highest quality design work; experience running design sessions
• Own the user experience for the projects involved (with support from User Centric Design Director): interaction design, visual design and prototyping designs.
• Work with your design peers to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience for our customers as they move across different platforms and tasks
• Design micro-interaction in our products to evolve the understanding of certain behaviors and improve the overall experience

In this role, you'll need ?

• 6+ years of UX/UI experience in a fast-paced environment for consumer internet or eCommerce company (ideally using Agile methodology).
• strong visual skills and experience working design systems (style guides and pattern libraries)
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to collaborate actively and effectively on multidisciplinary teams
• Proven mobile expertise in Android and iOS, as well as Web product experience. Preferable on consumer facing products.
• A comprehensive background in mobile first design principles and best in class UX|UI trends.
• Mastery of Figma and Adobe XD (and other Adobe tools), white boarding and team collaboration
• Delivery of pixel-perfect production assets in Figma and Adobe XD.

Desired

• Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples.
• Ability with transition/motion design and can present concepts as needed.
• Experiencing building Design Systems (or deeply involved in its creation)
