We are looking to hire an experienced, passionate Sous Chef for our growing family of restaurants. We currently operate six successful and busy restaurants in San Diego. Our establishments are high volume, fast paced, casual and friendly. We are on the hunt for someone who can confidently take on an established restaurant, lead and motivate a back of house team and seamlessly integrate into our company culture.

We pride ourselves on high quality and fresh food & drinks as well as efficient service. Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Two years of Sous Chef experience in a full service restaurant is a must, 3 years of Back of house supervisory experience is recommended. Candidate must also be proficient on all Back of House stations.

We offer a competitive salary, which will be based on position and experience.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Oversee daytime management & kitchen operations

Be extremely comfortable working the line & expo

Oversee food preparation

Comply with health department regulations

Oversee cleanliness, sanitation and organization

Supervise Back of House Staff

Train Back of House Staff

Oversee ordering

Oversee equipment purchases and repairs

Assist in managing food cost

Assist in managing Back of House labor cost
