That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Department of Defense needs.As a network engineer on our team, you'll help the Navy build a reliable network to support Naval operations. You'll work with Subject Matter Experts, project managers, and commanding officers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and sof tware talents to good use.   • 7+ years of experience in an engineering role, including performing architecture and design of heterogeneous IT environments
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco Networking products
  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting networking issues in an enterprise-scale environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain IAT Level II Security+ Certification and CCNA before start date
Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with WAN Optimization in Riverbed
  • Experience with various networking te chn ologies and vendors
  • Experience with virtualization te chn ologies
  • Experience with cloud-based te chn ology
  • Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with network engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • CASP or CISSP Certification

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD).
