Remote Senior Software Engineer - WPF, MVVM

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with strong C#/WPF experience. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This position is 100% remote. The Principal Software Engineer will be focused on architecting and developing the software for a Medical Platform/systems. The system works with inputs over a 3D space and as such leads to 3D reconstruction of information, similar to imaging systems like CT, ultrasound. The effort in the project involves the need to create a highly efficient solution within a high-end computing environment. You will work along scientists and lead the effort in all relevant areas of commercially deployable software.Responsibilities: The Principal Software Engineer will be architecting the various subsystems of the software product and producing the software requirements and spec document C#/WPF based front end design for displaying complex medical data and corresponding user control Signal processing algorithms or other computational algorithms to process high throughput data in a multi-threaded environment Data transport module to transmit data from/to multiple hardware systems Assist with developing sensor devices and corresponding technology from the perspective of signal and algorithm needs As a Principal Software Engineer, you will participate in discussion with System Engineer and Algorithm Engineer on algorithm developments The application is intended to be developed in a Windows environmentREQUIREMENTS: BS or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, with 8-10 years of experience Experience in the Medical Device. Gaming, Aerospace or Dentistry industry Fluent in C# and WPF in a Window Development Environment Fluent in C/C Complex WPF experience at the 3D rendering area Experience deploying software to the field Experience working with XAML and ViewModel, MVVM is desired Multi-Threaded programming experience in C and/or C# environment Understanding of C/ STL/CLI Experience taking products through FDA 60601 is desired Solid understand of fundamental mathematical concepts, such as Linear Algebra Self-starter, able to lead an effort and work independently with certain level of guidance Good communicator, able to lead discussion, conduct brainstorming and reach agreement despite differencesPreferred: JavaScript for desktop applications Previous experience on digital filtering and code performance optimization will be a big plus Experience with MATLAB or Python is a big plus Experience with C 11 or higher is a plus Experience in developing a medical software and submitting for FDA approval a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
