JOB TITLE: Project Manager

Fluid Resource Management (FRM) is a local water and wastewater operations and maintenance (O&M) firm and is looking for a Project Manager to provide support for our team. As a Project Manager, you will assist in project logistics from bid to project close out. Including pricing, bid compilation, vendor coordination, material acquisition, scheduling, invoicing, coordination meetings, safety trainings, etc.

This is a fast-paced industry so the ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently is necessary. Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbally and written are a must to keep projects running smooth. Construction, water treatment or wastewater experience would be beneficial but not necessary. This position will allow you to learn and develop project management skills while performing increasingly complex tasks. FRM has a culture of promoting from within, eventually there could be an opportunity to be given a portfolio of projects to manage on your own.

FRM is providing the hourly rate that the company in good faith believes it might pay for the position at the time of job posting. The actual compensation paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, educations, licenses or certifications, experience, and market value. A reasonable salary range is $30.00 – $36.00 per hour with the decision to be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

This is a full-time position with benefits. Applicant must have a clean DMV record. There may be occasional traveling involved with this position.

PROJECT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Will work closely with Project Management team on multiple projects at the same time to ensure successful completion of complex projects.

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the O&M division.

Carries out administrative duties such as assisting with project submittals, request for information, change orders, request of quotes, project documentation, project folder maintenance, tracking project issues, issuing purchase orders, action items etc.

Supports O&M by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.

Ensure that project submittals meet technical specifications prior to submission to the client or engineer of record.

Assist with project scheduling, including coordination of subcontractor or vendors.

Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

Works closely with field staff by providing information, and day to day operational logistics, material needs, to the extent necessary.

Assist in the coordination equipment and vehicle maintenance needs by auditing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

Provides information by answering questions and requests.

Makes travel arrangements for field staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.

May be responsible for project supplies inventory by assisting in material take offs, requesting quotes, checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
