Project Engineer for Multifamily New Construction

Canfield Development, Inc. (www.canfield-development.com) and its affiliated general contracting firm Westside Contractors, Inc. (www.westside-contractors.com) are a privately held multi-family residential development and general contracting company based out of Sherman Oaks, CA.

Position:

Seeking an entry level Project Engineer for pre-construction, estimating, bidding, scheduling, and construction management duties on multifamily new construction projects in Greater LA area.

Responsibilities:

Estimating/Budgeting

Bidding/Procurement

Contracts Administration

Permitting

Schedules

RFIs and Submittals

O&M turnover and Punchlist

Manage customer service

Qualifications:

0 - 3 years construction management experience required (multi-family experience preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Construction means and methods

Plan reading, take-offs, estimating

Relationship with local subcontractors a plus

Skills:

Must be able to multi-task, excellent communicator, organized, and self-starter

MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, & Project

Compensation:
