Overview: Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Project Coordinator (Healthcare/Research). Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship Location: Los Angeles, CA 90095 Duration: 6+ months Summary: Under the general supervision of the Project Principal Investigator and Research & Training Programs Manager, incumbent will serve as a project manager for the Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P) The project manager may also be asked provide administrative, research, policy analysis and/or writing support to other related projects such as grant applications as needed/available. The program manager should also have experience managing multiple PI s, including working with the busy schedules of clinical and research faculty in order to schedule meetings and manage competing priorities. - Communicate regularly with stakeholders (including but not limited to editors, publishers, prospective funding applicants, collaborators, presenters/speakers, and community partners) about deadlines, reviews, feedback and submissions from the network;
- Review and continually monitor materials on all media platforms including client s-hosted website, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and sites hosted by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities
- Organize, publicize, and manage monthly webinars featuring presentations by and discussions with leading experts;
- Conduct comprehensive event planning for events ranging from small virtual and in-person meetings to two annual plenary research conferences;
- Assist the Project PI and faculty with developing presentation materials, reports, and additional deliverables;
- Meet regularly with various stakeholders and other project staff and collaborators to develop and monitor workplans and ensure that targets are met;
- Develop and implements a dissemination plan (including a project website, a member mailing list, presentations at external meetings, and additional communications platforms) for findings, publications, and other network information and products to local, state, and national audiences.
- Meet regularly with project staff to provide performance updates, relay information, discuss issues or challenges, and develop improvement plans when necessary.
- Minimum 4 years post-graduation experience
- Ability to work as a supportive and cooperative member of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to use computer technology effectively, including preparation of documents and databases and website and social media management
- Advanced demonstrated organizational skills
- Advanced demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Minimum of 2 or more years of experience and demonstrated skill in project and personnel management, including successful coordination of multiple concurrent projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures related to contracts and grants
- Familiarity with autism and/or at least one of the following disciplines: medicine, health, psychology, education, and/or other science disciplines.
- Valid CA driver's license and ready access to transportation
- Ability to commute to Westwood office 5x/week hybrid work dependent on performance of duties & tasks
