Preschool Teacher or Aide

The Vine Learning Center specializes in the education of infants through Pre-K. We have been in business since 2007 in Linda Vista and have 3 locations! We are centrally located near Fashion Valley, Mission Valley and Friars Road. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, caring teacher to join our great team!

We prefer all applicants to have some level of experience in the Child Development field, but it is not required to apply.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create positive learning environments

Use our curriculum as inspiration to create fun and interactive lesson plans

Supervision and management of a classroom (may include some diaper changing and/or potty training)

Build positive, open communication with children, families, and staff

Ensure the learning environment is always clean and safe

You will need:

Positive attitude

Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills

Written and verbal communication skills

A satisfactory level of technological knowledge (documenting daily reports on a tablet, sending professional emails, etc.)

Open to constructive feedback

Willingness to learn and grow with our partnership with San Diego Quality Preschool Initiative (SDQPI)

Be able to pass a background check prior to accepting any position

Availability: Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:30am – 5:30pm
