Job DetailsResponsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of major shared infrastructure components to meet the growing demands of the distributed systems powering our products
• Debug production issues across applications and services at all layers of the infrastructure stack
• Mentor other engineers throughout the product life-cycle, from infrastructure design to troubleshooting complex distributed systems issues
• Partner with engineering teams to build new features at scale while improving internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Champion best practices for availability, reliability, capacity planning, incident management, and production readiness
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization

You should know some of the following:

• TCP/UDP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, and Linux system administration
• Kubernetes
• Golang
• CI/CD tools and pipelines (bazel, argo cd/workflows)
• Implementing and utilizing infrastructure observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, OpenTelemetry)
• Video technology experience is a plus (ingest, livestreaming, rtmp routing, content delivery, global networking)
• Event streaming platforms or data pipelines is a plus (Apache Kafka)
• Distributed databases is a plus (cockrachdb, clickhouse)
