About Us:

We are a busy physical therapy office with eight employees that was established 7 years ago. The owner has over 25 years of experience and is looking to grow our practice. Our team prides itself in excellent service to our patients, while providing a warm friendly family environment. We have regular staff meetings, staff developments and love to celebrate the holidays throughout the year. We have a bright office with large windows on a nice street and a parking garage.

Our Physical Therapy office is looking for a licensed PT to come on a part-time basis of 20 to 24 hours with our clinic for immediate hire. Flexible schedule, ability to work Saturdays and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment is required.

Seeking a Physical Therapist with experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting desired but not required. Candidates will need to have the following skills:

Compassion and empathy for patients, who are often in pain.

Attention to detail regarding a patient’s problems to analyze what they need to ease their pain and to prevent further injury

Physical stamina to lift patients and spend long hours standing and modeling exercises.

Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them.

Communication skills to interact clearly with doctors and family members as well as patients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Reviewing patients’ medical histories.

Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns.

Developing individualized treatment plans for patients.

Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan.

Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.

Recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care if needed.

Educating patients and family members about the recovery process

Must be able to give patients proper and safe exercise instruction and put together a plan of care

that involves an exercise program.

Must be proficient in basic stretching, mobilization and massage techniques for all body parts.

Requirements:

CPR certified

PT License in State of CA
