Audio Engineer Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Varied based on show schedule, including evenings and weekends. Specific hours to be discussed.

Line 2: "Welcome to The American Comedy Co.! Tonight, it's The Gaslamp Comedy Open Mic! And now, please welcome your host, Nathan Donovan"
We are looking for talented, tech-savvy individuals with a passion for audio and live comedy. The ideal candidate will have experience with live sound engineering and a commitment to creating an extraordinary guest and performer experience.
Audio Engineer Requirements:
Ability to manage all aspects of live audio production, including setup, operation, and breakdown of sound equipment.
Ensure the highest quality of sound for all performances.
Troubleshoot audio issues quickly and efficiently.
Work closely with performers and staff to meet audio needs.
Stay updated with the latest in sound technology to suggest improvements.
Availability to work during scheduled shows, which may include weekends and holidays
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in live sound engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with sound equipment and technology.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
High School Diploma or equivalent; further technical or college education in audio engineering preferred.
Experience with digital audio workstations and live mixing consoles is preferred.
Skills
Strong technical skills with sound equipment and audio software.
Ability to mix live performances for optimal sound quality.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and show requirements.
Basic knowledge of electrical safety and troubleshooting.
