Millwork/Cabinet Estimator

We have more than 42 years of excellent reputation and track record in the great Southern California area. We are excited to bring in a new team member in the Drafting/Estimating group. Job Requirements:

. Must have working experience with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD a plus (minimum 3 years)

. Must have field experience in measuring, installation and troubleshooting (minimum 3 years)

. Must have institutional bid takeoff, proposal preparation, drafting and approving submittals experience.

. Must have working knowledge of reading architectural blueprints, GC's, legal contracts.

. Excellent calculation of millwork/cabinet estimates, and manufacturing knowledge

. Strongly focused, well-organized, and team-oriented personality in a fast-paced environment (in-person)

. Exceptional communication, sales and peopleskills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Responsibilities:

. Responsible for bid take-offs, shop drawings, incoming RFI/Ps, RFQs via all sources. Highly motivated to bring in new projects and clients.

. Effectively at budgeting, managing and meeting strict deadlines with multiple requests, submittals and projects at any given time.

. Diligently working with Senior management and team leaders on a complete project cycle.

This position requires a strong background in construction estimating, including experience with various types of projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects while utilizing their skills in cost estimation, project management, and contract negotiation.
