Medical Assistant- Immediate Hire!

We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast growing specialty practice. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient care and assisting healthcare providers in a clinical setting.

Duties:

- Room patients, obtain vital signs and document in electronic medical record

- Prepare exam rooms (cleaning and stocking)

- Assist physician in procedures

- Assist in performing X-Rays as needed

- Post-operative care (including suture removal and bandage changes)

- Sterilization of instruments

- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals

Skills:

- Active Certified Medical Assistant certification required

- Current CPR/BLS card

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
