Local Accounts Payable Specialist needed $25/hour

Wholesaler warehouse looking for a full time Accounts payable Specialist with the following skills:

-Minimum 1 year accounts payable experience required

-Attention to detail

-Basic Math

-Able to work independently as well as to follow direction

-Data Entry

-Able to work full time/overtime as needed

-Knowledge in Microsoft office (EXCEL & WORD)

Duties:

-Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors

-Analyzing workflow processes

-Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors

-Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental policies and procedures

-Processing due invoices for payments

-Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges

-Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
