We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. If you have a love for cooking and a desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting delicious dishes that delight our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients according to recipes.

2. Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards.

3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking stations, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.

4. Ensure that all food items meet quality and freshness standards before being served.

5. Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.

6. Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and other line cooks, to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service.

7. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

8. Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and maintain timely service during busy periods.

9. Be willing to work in different stations as needed and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

10. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to coordinate tasks, address issues, and ensure a cohesive team environment.

11. Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to accurately answer customer questions and accommodate special requests.

12. Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations by consistently delivering high-quality food and service.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.

2. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and culinary fundamentals.

3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

7. Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
