Land Surveyor Party Chief

Job Description:

Nasland Engineering is seeking for a full-time survey Chief of Party. Must have strong math, communication, and organizational skills, with a willingness/enthusiasm to work outdoors on a wide variety of projects. Trimble GPS/RTK, Robotic Total Station experience a plus.

This position works as a head of a survey crew to perform boundary, topographical, and commercial and residential construction surveys. This position is also responsible for offering direction and guidance to technicians/chainman/rodman and ensures that crew adheres to procedures set by the company, state statutes, and the survey industry. This is a full-time, benefited position.

What You Bring to the Team:

4-year survey experience and/or LSIT strongly desired

Knowledge of boundary law, construction calculations, and research methods.

Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment

Knowledge of Trimble surveying equipment and software.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in all types of weather

Ability to maintain relationships with fellow employees and clients

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Valid California Driver's License

Insurable driving record

Must be able to pass drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 - $90,000+ per year

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8-hour shift

Over-time as needed
