IT Support Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Madera, CA.Overview:The IT Support Engineer for provides on-site service to plant and corporate office personnel. The candidate coordinates all support needs for assigned locations. This individual should be knowledgeable in Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and End User Technical Troubleshooting. They will report to the IT Support Supervisor. The role is in the plant or office facilities and is a member of the IT Support Team. The IT Support Engineer must be comfortable taking on small projects as assigned, asking questions, and working as part of a geographically dispersed team.REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree and 3 years of IT support and/or IT infrastructure experience or Bachelor's degree and 1 year of IT support experience Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiar with IT Concepts: Networking (DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, etc.), Hardware Components (RAM, CPU, SSD, etc.), Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Willingness to obtain one or more common industry certifications within first 60 days of employmentParticularly desirable certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ Microsoft MD-100: Windows 10 or Microsoft Office Specialist expertThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
