IT Helpdesk Support

Location:

Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Duties: The primary function of this position will be to provide IT support through telephone, chat, ticket, and walkup to internal end users. Coordinate, diagnose, and troubleshoot employee computer related issues involving desktop, laptop, or the network. This position is responsible for timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customers to appropriate technical personnel. Provides case status updates to management and end-users. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Adhere to standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines related to IT support and knowledgebase. Works on problems of limited scope and follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Skills: Strong customer focus and excellent telephone manner are essential. Must be able to work well under pressure. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to multitask and solve problems independently. Individual will interact with all levels of management and people with different styles. The candidate must possess strong technical debugging skills in the Windows environment, along with experience supporting business and connectivity tools such as Microsoft Office email and calendaring tools.
