Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the estimating team by assessing and measuring projects.

Prepare and organize project documents and data for use in estimating processes.

Mark repairs on projects.

Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the estimating team.

Post notices and cones pick up as needed.

Call and manage repairs with Dig Alert.

Open jobs, perform basic quality control checks and take pictures as needed.

Utilize technology to accomplish assigned tasks.

Collects and drops off of plans and keys.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required - some college highly preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record (no major violations)

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic fast paced environment.

Proficient in basic math skills.

Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail and communication skills are valuable

Work Environment

Office Environment: The Estimator Support primarily works in an office setting, utilizing computer systems and software for data analysis, documentation, and communication.

Construction Site Visits: Frequently, the Estimator Support may be required to visit construction sites to gather project information, collaborate with team members, or assess site conditions. This may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and potential hazards associated with construction sites.

Collaborative Setting: The Estimator Support interacts regularly with members of the estimating team, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this role.
