Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic with a passion for automotive repair and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles of various makes and models. Job Duties:

Diagnose Vehicle Issues: Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical problems accurately.

Perform Repairs: Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other vehicle components.

Regular Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks.

Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers / service writers to explain diagnoses and needed repairs, providing exceptional customer service.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet or exceed industry standards and shop specifications.

Tools and Workspace Maintenance: Keep tools and work environment clean, organized, and in good working order.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new automotive technologies and repair techniques through workshops, courses, and self-study.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanic; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.

Working knowledge of diagnostic systems and methods.

Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Valid certification (e.g., ASE) is a plus.
