Job Summary:
The Donations Team Driver/Mover is responsible for driving to assigned routes to load and unload donation items and debris left over from estate sales. The Donations Team Driver/Mover delivers excellent customer service by following True Legacy Homes guiding principles and philosophies. The Donations Team Driver/Mover maintains a clean and organized work vehicle and shopping environment, and adheres to all operational, merchandise and safety standards. The Donations Team Driver/Mover may also be cross trained to work in multiple areas of the estate sales division in order to support the needs of the division.
Wage Scale: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Status: Non-Exempt/ Full-Time
30-40 hours per week
Shift: Day

Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Donations Team Driver/Mover is responsible for the teardown and pick up of donation items at the conclusion of estate sales.
Loads and unloads trucks of donation items and debris.
Drives donation truck in a safe and timely manner to various estate sale and donation center locations throughout the County.
Complete all required documentation accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner, in accordance with True Legacy Homes' standards.
Assist the estate sales team with the breakdown and clean up at the conclusion of the estate sale.
Provides excellent customer service skills. Possess strong communication skills.
Communicates with the main office for any changes required to routes and destinations.
Alerts Sales Manager of potential security issues.
Conducts daily safety inspection of TLH work vehicles. Performs inspection of interior, exterior, brakes, headlamps, taillights.
Immediately reports any mechanical malfunctions or other problems to the Donation Team Manager and/or Retail Operations Manager.
Responsible for daily vehicle cleaning, ensure routine fueling, check oil and fluid levels, clean windshield and headlamps, and maintain company vehicles in clean and safe operating condition.
Keeps DMV registration, TLH proof of insurance, and personal Driver’s License in vehicle when in operation.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver’s License (Class C).
Must not have any vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony driving within 7 years.
Knowledge of San Diego County and surrounding areas.
Must be able to communicate with and relate to a diverse staff and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Must possess a high level of integrity.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of commercial driving experience.
Physical Requirements:
The nature of the position requires frequent travel to and from various locations within the County. Occasionally, travel may be required to neighboring counties.
May on occasion require prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
Heavy Carrying/Lifting: Physically transporting, raising items from a lower to a higher position, or moving objects horizontally weighing 50 pounds and over from one location to another.
Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
Bending and Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist.
Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders or stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
Mobility Requirement: Ability to get from one location to another.
Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on one or both knees.
Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, fingers, and/or upper body for sustained periods of time, including using extremities to drag, push, pull or grasp.
Visual Requirements: Able to see and read computer screens, small electronic devices, and maps.
Hearing Requirement: Able to detect specific noises for proper equipment operation.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
Work Environment:
Work may involve exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, loud noise, or chemicals, etc.
