Dental Receptionist /treatment coordinator

Our team is looking for an organized, efficient and influential person to enroll our patients in the treatment they need while providing excellent customer service. This includes assisting dentist and supporting entire dental team with a CAN DO attitude.

Qualifications Include:

At least 2 years experience as Dental Treatment and Financial Coordinator

Expert in Dentrix software, PPO billing, treatment planning, accounts receivable, financial arrangements and following up on insurance claims

Experience with third party financing including Care Credit, Sunbit, and Alphaeon

Advanced communication skills

Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

Commitment to high quality patient care

Duties include:

Establish rapport with every patient

Conduct non clinical interviews with patients

Insurance verification

Prepare estimates on treatment diagnosed prior to discussing financial arrangements

Determine portion patient is responsible

Present treatment plans, offer financing options as necessary

Collect payments at time of scheduling treatment

- Follows a process to track outstanding balances and claims

- Manages problems and patient complaints in a timely manner by acting as a liaison between patients, staff and doctors to resolve the matter elegantly.

Run regular reports to monitor unscheduled treatment, case acceptance rate, A/R, Insurance Aging, Collection as a percent of Production

Set and track goals that contribute to practice growth

Lead morning huddles and weekly meetings based on what is going great and what needs improvement

Participate in practice’s marketing activities
