Looking for a Data Center Engineer with Expertise in Git SCM
Primary role is to drive the migration of our existing enterprise SCM to another SCM. You will define and execute a detailed migration plan, ensuring minimal impact to existing product development / release.
Still using Adaptive GitHub, goal is to move to GitHub
Lots of code, repos, integrations and custom features
Want candidate to move everything with minimum disruption
Have ability to script, read, automate
Having ability to write code and develop programming would be great to have to be considered for long term opportunity
For scripting: bash / python
For programming: python / golang
Should know REST APIs and JSON
If they are true Git experts they should have these in their toolset since that is what you'll be needing in the advanced Git projects

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

Technical documentation of migration plan / runbooks / guides
Ability to isolate problems between hardware and software. Working with appropriate team(s) and vendors until a resolution has been reached.
Ensure requirements are available and understood by the Scrum team.
Lead detailed requirements gathering efforts on the project as needed — consulting with product management, implementations, clients, and other stakeholders.
Attend scrum meetings including stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Undergraduate degree
Expertise in Git concepts and technologies (HA / Replication / Upgrades / Migrations)
Working knowledge of Git integrations (Jenkins / Jira / SSO) and features (webhooks / protected branches)
Extensive experience working with Jira or other agile project management tools.
