CNC Production Planner/ Scheduling Manager $36-$43 Per Hour (Oxnard)

Direct Position, NOT Contract (This job is in OXNARD, CA)

Location: MUST be able to commute or relocate to OXNARD, CA on your own.

Rate: $36-$43 Per Hour to Start, depending on experience.

Position: Production Planner/ Scheduling Manager

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Production Control function and develop the processes, procedures and staffing necessary to support our manufacturing requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop policies, practices and systems that ensure the smooth and reliable flow of materials through the production process.

· Create and maintain production schedules to ensure customer commitments are being met and work is efficiently scheduled in the shop.

· Ensure that the appropriate inventory levels are procured, received and warehoused accurately and securely.

· Oversee the maintenance of the inventory and shop floor control modules of the MRP system.

· Responsible for ensuring all labor and material transaction on work orders are being charged accurately and in a timely manner.

· Provide clear direction to all functional subordinates to ensure that all objectives are met.

· Coordinate material movement and shop floor control activities in the manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

· 8 to 10 years’ experience in a planning/scheduling capacity within a manufacturing environment.

· Five plus years supervisory experience.

· Excellent organization, communications and time management skills.

· High proficiency working with MRP systems.

· College degree from an accredited university.
