Distributor of fishing tackle and outdoor sporting goods seeks part time Sales Associate.
Immediate opening. Part Time. Pay rate is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities Overview:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales Associate will call and visit retailers (our dealers). Sales Associate will communicate with the dealers’ staff and/or management and inform them of our new products, inventory updates, marketing promotions, and other news.
Sales Associate will listen to dealers and document their product needs and/or feedback as to how we may better serve them. Sales Associate will review the dealers’ store pegs and stock levels to determine any items that are out-of-stock or low-stock, and write up sales orders as needed.
In addition to sales-related responsibilities, Sales Associate will deliver to the dealer locations customer orders including without limitation bulky or heavy items. Sales Associate will obtain a delivery confirmation signature from the dealer upon delivering the items.

Among other responsibilities, Sales Associate would:
Represent the company to existing dealers and introduce the company to new dealers.
Visit dealers in-person, via virtual meetings, by telephone, and/or by email, and check in with them. Inquire whether they need any additional products or need to place orders.
Scan retail store pegs to determine necessary restocking quantities.
Be observant and watch for new opportunities for the company to serve its dealers.
Assist dealers with placing orders.
Use company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to document interactions with our dealers and help build the client relationship with the company.
Educate dealers on the existence of our dealer ordering site and educate them on how to use it. Trouble shoot customer service issues that may arise with our dealers using the dealer site.
Handle customer service issues with empathy for the customer, clear communication skills, and efficiency.
Operate motor vehicles used to deliver products and/or visit dealers or client prospects safely in accordance with all rules, regulations and company procedures.
Safely deliver dealer orders to the dealer locations.
Follow company policy procedures and guidelines.
Seek out additional tasks when time allows.
Qualifications:
Among other qualifications, candidates must be able to:
Communicate effectively with colleagues and dealer staff and management. Enjoy speaking and listening to clients.
Gain a deep understanding of the company’s product offering so as to be effective at selling the product line to dealers.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Be trustworthy, responsible, conscientious and hard working.
Must be computer literate and comfortable using software and technology. Be fluent with computer and mobile technology, including but not limited to websites, laptop computers, tablets, smart phones, and barcode scanners.
Know and consistently adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Ability to follow instructions, with strong attention to detail.
Must be able to perform work accurately.
Lifting up to 55 lbs required.
Ability to do basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide; basic algebra a plus.
No prior experience required.
