Child research study (ages 8-14) - get $50 cash

The Language Learning Lab at SDSU is currently looking for children ages 8-14 to participate in a study looking at language and learning in children and adolescents.

Children will complete 2 1-2 hour sessions. One can be held online or in person and one must be in person in the lab.

Children will complete tasks that evaluate their language abilities and also will be asked to wear a cap with electrodes while participating in a language task. We require the presence of a parent or legal guardian to sign a consent form. Participants will be compensated $50 for their participation.

To qualify, children must:

- Be 8-14 years old

- Have English as their primary language

- Have normal hearing and normal or corrected vision

- Have no history of brain injury or neurological illness or diagnosis of intellectual disability or autism.

We are looking primarily for children who have difficulty using appropriate grammar, telling stories, following multiple

directions at once, and/or reading and/or writing.

We offer flexible scheduling on weekends and after school. We are located at 6505 Alvarado Road, Suite 100.
