Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid) 1 to 2 days onsite but for the right candidate I will ask if remote is possible. but first preference is onsite. EAD.

Manager is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with experience with both Master Data Management (MDM) and Analytics Our Enterprise Architecture and Data Services team is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst. You are the data expert on critical enterprise domains, maintain and improve data integrity and consumption of the data with trust and transparency. You act as the subject matter expert in the specific data domains and lead data issues resolution in partnership with cross-functional teams. This hands-on technical role demands knowledge of data analysis, business processes, Agile development methodologies along with a strong analytical skill.Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals, and gaps.
  • Collaborate with Business Technology development teams and other business analysts in the planning, prioritization, design, development, and deployment of new projects & system enhancements.
  • Document, socialize and gain alignment with cross functional teams on key decisions that impact process and business operations
  • Responsible for understanding business requirements and creating documentation as needed, i.e. Business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, business cases, gap analysis (as is vs. to be) documents etc.
  • Responsible for metadata management of data domain, inclusive of data definitions, data catalog, data lineage and documentation of data flow for critical processes
  • Design, implement and monitor ongoing data certification along the data lifecycle to ensure data readiness for BI and ML consumption
  • Conduct data profiling during onboarding of new data to establish baseline and KPIs
  • Execute and maintain Data Quality Index (Data Health Scorecard) to report state of data health
  • Conduct data discovery and forensics for issues resolution and partner with Data Governance Lead and Business Data Stewards to resolve root cause
  • Participate in Information Governance Council to present DQ analysis findings and recommend possible remediation recommendations if available
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of business functions, processes, and relationships as it relates to data
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of related and progressive experience in Data Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Quality management and Data Governance
  • Expert analytic skill in data forensics and analysis to identify data patterns and root causes of data issues
  • Expert skills with various analytics/query/ BI tools such as Alteryx, SQL workbench, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise source systems and of systems that consume core and reference data, including CRM, ERP and Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (i.e. Salesforce, Workday, etc)
  • Knowledge of core data initiatives (MDM) and core data management strategies and best practices
  • Experience developing and maintaining data dictionary, data catalog, and business glossary
  • Outstanding business engagement and communications skill to influence stakeholders in business decision making
  • Excellent problem-solving skills involving complex and ambiguous issues
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of executing on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment working with cross functional teams
  • Self-motivated team player with clear and effective communications skills; solid time management & organization skills; ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities.
