Express is looking for reliable, energetic Bindery Operators to join a local printing company in Mira Mesa. If you enjoy fast-paced, detail-oriented work and are looking to start an industrial career this is the job for you! No previous experience is required as they are willing to teach you everything about their operations.
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.50/HR (depending on experience)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
Bindery Operator Highlights:
Handling (organizing, sorting, stapling) and binding/assembling printed materials such as books, posters, magazines, and other creative materials.
Bindery Operators setup, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery in order to convert printed sheets into finished products.
In addition to equipment operation, Bindery Operators conduct quality control, troubleshoot issues, prepare orders for customer pickups, prepare orders for deliveries, and ship packages.
Bindery Operators need to be able to read and interpret job tickets in order to apply proper production processes specific to individual products and services.
What We Look for in Bindery Operators:
Ability to work individually and in a team setting
Basic math skills and ability to make measurements
Strong attention to detail
High School Degree/GED
6+ months’ experience in a fast-paced work environment preferred (Fast-food, production, warehouse, manufacturing)
