Bi-Lingual Event Staff (Spanish/English)

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly organized candidate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to staff various local community events. You will work closely with our event team to coordinate event logistics, welcome guests, inspect equipment for damage, among other duties.

Be prepared to constantly be on your feet and attend to the many needs of event-goers. Previous experience as an event coordinator/staffer or similar role is strongly desired.

Events will be on Saturdays for a minimum of 6 hours per event.

Tentative dates: 2/16, 2/24, 3/2, 3/9, 4/6, 4/20, 5/18, 6/1, 6/15, 6/29, 7/13, 7/27, 8/10 (Additional events in April)

Event Staff Responsibilities:

Familiarizing with the events’ goals & processes.

Working under instructions of Event Manager.

Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up a booth for events.

Attending needs of event participants and ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

Educating event participants /residents about the program

Tracking participants’ preferences, metrics, and media campaigns through surveys.

Troubleshooting technical issues with i-pads and other electronic devices.

Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.

Maintaining a positive image at all times.

Brand/Event Ambassador Requirements:

Bi-Lingual Spanish is a must

Must pass a background check and have a valid Social Security number

Prior experience in a customer service environment is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.

Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Pay rate: $27 per hour
