New restaurant in Arcata is hiring one or more bartenders who enjoy getting out on the floor to serve as needed. We are an intimate and cozy restaurant in Arcata, serving New American food and craft cocktails, wine, and beer. Our team is small, collegial, and collaborative. We want you to be part of it. Bartender (PT – 2 positions available: 3 days and 2 days/wk; $16/hr. + tips)

You are the fabulous host of the restaurant. You love conviviality and creating finely crafted drinks to go with it. The following qualities make you perfect for the position.

Minimum of 3 years bartending experience, preferably including with craft cocktails

Know a wide range of classic and modern cocktails

Know how to get finely-balanced, delicious cocktails out to guests in record time

As adept at serving as you are bartending – and are willing to combine the two

Make serving a busy restaurant full of people look like a professional performance of Swan Lake

Deeply embrace the belief that teamwork makes the dream work

Work clean – squeaky clean. As in obsessively clean.

Organized and linear

Innate attention to detail
