Warehouse Associate (Receiving)

We continue to grow and are looking for a Warehouse Associate (Receiving) to work out of our Central Distribution warehouse in Mesa, AZ.

The Warehouse Associate (Receiving) is responsible for unloading, receiving, and organizing product in our Central Distribution warehouse. This position is also responsible for the security, safety, and cleanliness of all warehouse and outside storage of products.

Essential Functions:

Receives incoming shipments from warehouse transfers and vendor purchase orders

Checks all incoming product for damage and processes according to company procedures and instructions

Notifies Vendor and Purchasing of any shipping discrepancies

Ensures sold products should be tagged and located in appropriate areas

Ensures all vendor paperwork are turned in to Accounting (Packing Slip, BOL, Pre-Receiver, Back

Order/Fill, Receipts Report)

Keeps Receiving area clean and neat

Follows all safety procedures

Uses Forklift to load/unload delivery trucks

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Basic inventory control, put away, and 1-year stand up reach experience

Accuracy and attention to detail

Effective listening skills & superior organizational skills

Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures

Able to multi-task as well as handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact

Team player who works productively with wide range of people

Able to obtain and pass Forklift training

High School diploma/GED preferred

Plumbing & Appliance product experience preferred
