Job Description

We seek a Heavy Equipment/Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a team player who can diagnose and repair heavy equipment and over-the-road trucks. You would also need to perform preventative maintenance and annual inspections.

Some of the Duties & Responsibilities

 Perform preventive maintenance and annual inspections.

 Minor engine & transmissions repairs

 Maintain the pickup truck fleet.

 Maintain and repair generators, plate tamps, water pumps & other small tools.

 Must be able to communicate well with truck drivers.

 Must be able to complete service, maintenance, and repair records.

 Must be able to work outdoors in summer heat and inclement weather.

 Emergency field repairs might be required.

 Welding/ fabrication skills are a plus but not required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Requirements

 High school Education or GED

 Valid Driver’s License, CDL a plus but not required.

 Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subject to random drug testing.Must stand for extended periods, lift arms above shoulder level, and move heavy objects 50 pounds or more. Work is performed inside a shop and outside in all weather conditions.
