RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer Quality in Phoenix, AZ.Responsibilities: Senior Principal Engineer Quality will be working closely with Design teams to support advanced semiconductor capital equipment design for performance, cost, and safety Support Global Sourcing teams with supplier identification specializing in both raw material and fabrication sourcing Close partnerships with Global Sourcing and Engineering on both commercial and technical support is required Working with Suppliers and Global Quality to support improvements in existing manufacturing processes; Implement with suppliers CIP principles Work within the company on defining standards and material specifications (physical, chemical, electrical) as required Explore new materials, applications, and technologies with Engineering teams to improve system/chamber performance, reduce overall costs and extend part lifetimes, yields and overall system productivity metrics Expected Travel Amount Required: 25% including internationalREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree/PhD is desirable 15+ years of experience in semiconductor industry with a strong focus on material applications, fabrication, and test/qualifications Experience/Understanding of material analytical methods, (physical, composition, electrical), Industry standards (ISO, AWS, etc.) Metrology techniques, SPC, etc. Ability to review drawings and make recommendations to designers for Best Known Practices Documentation and ECO Release of specification standards Ability to collaborate with others in a global setting Written and oral communication skills required Ability to influence, persuade and position the value building in quality within products Strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic and data to make factual assessments Reliability, Testing, SPC and Quality Systems knowledge is strongly preferred Ability to drive resolution at the root cause level to ensure full resolution of quality issuesThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
