Pool Service Tech

As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of swimming pools to meet safety and sanitation standards. You will diagnose and repair pool equipment, perform routine cleaning and chemical treatments, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Pool Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks for swimming pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and backwashing filters.

Chemical Balancing: Monitor and maintain proper chemical balance in pools to ensure water safety and quality, including pH levels and chlorine concentration.

Equipment Inspection and Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lights. Replace or recommend replacement of faulty components.

Water Testing: Conduct water quality tests, interpret results, and adjust chemical treatments accordingly to maintain clean and safe pool water.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding service schedules, maintenance recommendations, and address their inquiries or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and chemical treatments performed.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot pool-related problems and provide cost-effective solutions.

Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements for pool operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred.

-Knowledge of pool equipment and chemicals.

-Strong problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and customer service skills.

-Ability to work independently and in a team.

-A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

-Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and various weather.

-Physical dexterity to perform tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
