$17 per hour Prep Cook

Ventura Market Owl Ear is a C-Store, deli, carwash, and reservation tobacco store earning the award of Top 100 Companies to work for three years in a row. We are the recipient of this award because we believe in building a strong culture. Our Scottsdale site is currently looking for individuals that have a high capacity for customer service and serving others. Our deli is open from 5am to 1pm Monday through Friday.

Our menu consists of many fresh grab and go items such as breakfast burritos, lunch burritos, sandwiches, salads, and homemade salsas.

The prep cook’s primary role is to both help kitchen prep and serve our teammates and our customers in the day-to-day operations of our busy deli. This looks like smiling/greeting every customer that comes through up to the deli and assisting both customers and teammates in any way possible. Compensation is $17.00 per hour. Training is paid and we offer full benefits to our employees working 30+ hours a week.

Ideal Candidates MUST:

-Have a food handler’s card

-Be Energetic

-Be Dependable

-Be Self-motivated

-Be friendly and a team player

-Be on your feet most of your shifts

-Be aware and attentive to surroundings

-Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Tattoos and body piercings must be in good taste

-Have a clean-cut appearance

-Be 18+ years old

Additional Preferred skills would include:

-Previous restaurant/ prep cook experience

-Bilingual Spanish/ English
