Job Description:

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on practicality and strategic planning. Our ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and understands the significant impact that a well-kept, clean, inviting environment has on our guests' overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing Camp for Groups

Perform thorough cleaning of cabins and bathrooms, ensuring they are sanitized, tidy, and ready for guests.

Maintain tidiness of meeting spaces, ensuring they are presentable and well-prepared for various camp activities and events.

Assist with camp setup and breakdown, including arranging & moving furniture, setting up equipment, and ensuring all areas are orderly for camp operations.

Conduct regular trash runs throughout the camp, collecting and disposing of waste in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with diverse individuals. You have a knack for building positive relationships and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Housekeeping Experience: You have 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping.

Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability: You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, readily tackling challenges that come your way. You adapt to changes quickly, ensuring smooth operations even when circumstances shift.

Physical Fitness: You're prepared for the physical demands of the job. This includes standing for extended periods, working in a variety of weather conditions, lifting heavy boxes (up to 50lbs), and performing various tasks around the camp facilities.

Consistently maintaining and preparing camp facilities for immediate use. Through high levels of satisfaction reported by the Facilities Director and guests.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves standing for extended periods, frequently lifting heavy boxes (up to 50lbs), and performing various physical tasks around the camp facilities.

Work Schedule and Availability:

Your work schedule will consist of a minimum of 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and up to 5 days per week. We will try to schedule consistent days on and off each week however, due to the dynamic nature of camp life, there will be instances when the work schedule changes and/or additional hours are required, especially during peak seasons or emergencies.
