Maintenance Foreman

Job Description: The ideal candidate Maintenance Foreman must be creative, have excellent problem-solving skills and organizational abilities to ensure the growth of plants in our landscaping business.

Role:

Landscape Technician and Maintenance worker.

Responsibility:

Pruning Trees.

Applying Fertilizers.

Removing dead weeds. Ensuring plant growth.

Inspecting Irrigation.

Build and Maintain Gardens.

Pick up trash.

General Lawn maintenance.

Qualifications:

Must have horticultural experience.

Minimum of two years of experience in the landscape maintenance field.

Previous supervisory experience within the industry is needed.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Solid knowledge of landscape-industry equipment, Processes and operation.

Ability to drive a truck & trailer.

Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on company's insurance policy.

Ability to pass drug test & extensive interview process.

Extensive knowledge of plant ID and plant care.

Extensive knowledge proper care of and management of trees

General knowledge of insects and diseases that are common to the Horticulture in our area.

Extensive knowledge of Irrigation systems, irrigation components, controller management & repairs.

Knowledge of low voltage maintenance

Knowledge of Water Feature maintenance.

Clean and professional appearance.

Industry certifications a plus.

Punctual and dependable.

Pay rate between $15.00-$18.00 depending on experience.
