Maintenance Engineer

Quardev is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a direct hire, full-time, on-site role with our branded apparel client based in Avondale, AZ. The ideal candidate for this role has experience working with warehouse teams, DC leadership and systems vendors, working to keep systems up and running 100% of the time. This is a great opportunity to come and work for a highly recognized company that is a leader in the branded apparel industry.Responsibilities:• Maintain facility systems, replacing and repairing individual system components as needed• Review system diagrams and technical documents, troubleshoots systems• Supports Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and automated systems rollouts• Leads maintenance training programs, updates training manuals• Complies with all applicable laws and regulatory rules, maintaining system maintenance records• Responds to customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues as they happenRequirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or experience maintaining material handling systems• 1-3 years experience in a Maintenance Engineer role, working in distribution centers• Conveyor belt systems maintenance experience • Experience completing and maintaining the client's Lift Operator Certification• Adapts to change easily and quickly• Must have functional and technical customer support skills• Human Machine Interface control systems experience• Comfortable communicating and working with a wide variety of audiences• Able to proactively identify and communicate recommendations, ensuring system reliability• Enjoys a fast-paced, high-volume, and sometimes hectic environment• Able to lift up to 60 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods of time, perform repetitive motions• Strong verbal, reading and writing English skills• Ability to work in typical warehouse conditions• Ideal candidate is able to travel to support other client distribution centers• Able to work off hours shifts when neededPlease note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer.
